Every year, an estimated 150 billion disposable gloves are used worldwide - and nearly all of them end up in landfills or as pollution. Hospitals, salons, yoga studios, dental offices, and more rely on single-use gloves daily, contributing to this growing waste stream.

At the EcoGlove Initiative, we believe it doesn’t have to be this way.

Founded by two friends, Vincent and Maddie, who witnessed the overwhelming glove waste in their own workplaces, our mission is to make glove recycling accessible in local communities. Partnering with programs like TerraCycle and inspired by successful efforts at universities such as UCSB, we are creating simple glove recycling solutions for medical offices, salons, yoga studios, and beyond.

Together, we can turn everyday waste into a force for good.
